Dress of the Week: Enzoani “Indira”

Our featured “Dress of the Week” is the “Indira” by Enzoani.

We have been enamored of sleeves recently, and this gown caught our attention. The way “Indira”  fits, tying around the waist really flatters a woman’s beautiful curves.

We also love the sweetheart bodice complimented by the sheer lace neckline. When looking closely at the details you can see just how delicate the carefully embroidered fabric is.

We admire the long train this dress provides! There is nothing like walking down the aisle and having the drama of a beautiful long train of gorgeous fabric behind you.

The plunging back adds the right amount of sexy to a classic shape.

Dress of the Week: Jim Hjelm

This week’s pick is from the Jim Hjelm collection. This gorgeous gown is made with ivory silk satin-faced organza with floral embroidered crystal trim at the natural waist line. The A-line silhouette and sweetheart neckline is perfect for any bride. My favorite thing about this gown is the bias cut asymmetrical ruffle skirt and chapel train, it’s classy and pleasing to the eye!

Dress of the Week: Ventura by Manuel Mota for Pronovias

Due to the recent untimely passing of supremely talented designer Manuel Mota, we thought it fitting to honor him with our first Dress of the Week post for 2013.
I had the honor of attending the Bridal Market Week fashion show at the Pronovias flagship store in NYC where this dress was showcased.  The minute the gown made it’s appearance on the runway there was an audible gasp.  This gown is just breathtaking.

Ventura is a magnificent beaded dress from the Manuel Mota 2013 collection for Pronovias. Its sweetheart neckline with wide shoulder straps decorated with delicate bead appliqués is made to flatter. This mermaid wedding dress shimmers with mother-of-pearl embroidery that emphasizes a wonderful figure. The semi-sheer skirt is embellished with original strips of mother-of-pearl embroidery creating a really modern silhouette.

The bride who wears this gown is sure to turn heads.  We would love to hear what you think!

xoxo,

Danielle

My favorite thing about this dress is that not only is it available in the traditional white or ivory, it is also made in shell (shown). The crystal-beaded and embroidered tulle is fashioned as a fit and flare, strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and skirt petals. It also has a beaded pearl/crystal sash in platinum. The details on this dress are incredible! What do you think?

Sheri

Dress of the Week: Jenny Lee

If you love lace as much as I do, then you’re going to adore this dress of the week! Jenny Lee is not only an incredible designer, she is also an amazing inspiration. She began choosing her own fabrics to design clothes at the tender age of six! In 1995 she opened her first boutique and it has gone national since then.  It is clear that her hard work and remarkable talent have paid off.

This stunning fit N flare dress is made with silk taffeta and lace. It is strapless with an attached court train and a sweetheart neckline. The gown is available in white and ivory to suit your style.

We’d love to hear what you think!

This fairytale gown is a strapless sweetheart with an all over sequin design that will give you just the right amount of sparkle. The natural waist is accented by an elaborate beaded band. The dress has buttons over the back zipper for an elegant look. The tulle circular skirt and chapel length train are sure to make you feel like a princess on your special day!
