“My inspiration this season was royalty of the past and present, naming each gown after a queen. In this collection, I combined soft and romantic fabrics with the dramatic detailing for which I have become known. It’s about a beautifully executed, elegant gown that evokes emotion in a bride. This is achieved in each gown and will definitely make every woman feel royal!” ~Angel Rivera, Designer

My favorite thing about this dress is that not only is it available in the traditional white or ivory, it is also made in shell (shown). The crystal-beaded and embroidered tulle is fashioned as a fit and flare, strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and skirt petals. It also has a beaded pearl/crystal sash in platinum. The details on this dress are incredible! What do you think?

Dress of the Week: Alvina Valenta

This week’s dress of the week is by Alvina Valenta. This elegant gown is a one shoulder tulle bridal ball gown with a chantilly lace bodice and tulle illusion overlay. It has beautiful silk ribbon and flower detail at the natural waist with a swirling multi-tiered tulle skirt and horsehair detail. This dress, offered in white and ivory, is sure to “wow” you!

Dress of the Week: Jenny Lee

If you love lace as much as I do, then you’re going to adore this dress of the week! Jenny Lee is not only an incredible designer, she is also an amazing inspiration. She began choosing her own fabrics to design clothes at the tender age of six! In 1995 she opened her first boutique and it has gone national since then.  It is clear that her hard work and remarkable talent have paid off.

This stunning fit N flare dress is made with silk taffeta and lace. It is strapless with an attached court train and a sweetheart neckline. The gown is available in white and ivory to suit your style.

We’d love to hear what you think!

Dress of the Week: Simone Carvalli

This week’s dress of the week is by the talented Simone Carvalli. I have fallen in love with this silk taffeta gown. The Swarovski crystals and beaded embellishment encircling the neckline give it all the sparkle a bride could want. The back has buttons over the zipper closure. It is a fit and flare silhouette with draping down the skirt that creates cascading asymmetrical tiers towards a chapel length train. The dress is available in diamond white, silk white, and ivory.

Dress of the Week: Claire Pettibone

Orange Blossom by Claire Pettibone is this week’s pick for Dress of the Week. It is a mermaid-style gown embellished with ivory and silver flowers on tulle. Floor length with a flattering square neckline and barely-there embellished cap sleeves, it is the back of this gown that truly won our hearts.

This fairytale gown is a strapless sweetheart with an all over sequin design that will give you just the right amount of sparkle. The natural waist is accented by an elaborate beaded band. The dress has buttons over the back zipper for an elegant look. The tulle circular skirt and chapel length train are sure to make you feel like a princess on your special day!

This particular number, available in both ivory and white, is a hand-beaded and embroidered tulle formal bridal gown. It’s finely detailed floral accents provide a unique texture as it travels down to the chapel train lending it a touch of elegance. The sweetheart neckline and elongated bodice with circular skirt give it a stunning shape. Let us know what you think!

Dress of the Week: Sarah Burton for Kate Middleton

The big day is here and everyone has finally had the chance to see the long awaited Royal wedding.  There has been a lot of hype leading up to this event.  The biggest question was “what will Kate’s dress look like?”.  Now we know!

Kate chose a long sleeved lace and ivory satin design by Sarah Burton.  For those of you who do not recognize the name, Sarah Burton is the Creative Director for the late Alexander McQueen.

We found the dress to be classic and elegant.  Kate embodied everything a princess should be on her wedding day.  The gown was definitely reminiscent of Grace Kelly’s wedding dress.  We can think of no better person to emulate.
