This particular number, available in both ivory and white, is a hand-beaded and embroidered tulle formal bridal gown. It’s finely detailed floral accents provide a unique texture as it travels down to the chapel train lending it a touch of elegance. The sweetheart neckline and elongated bodice with circular skirt give it a stunning shape. Let us know what you think!

Sheri

Dress of the Week: Justin Alexander

This is another great dress to add to our weekly Dress of the Week collection. It was designed by Justin Alexander. He takes a traditional wedding dress and transforms it into something simple yet fun and flirty just by cutting the skirt a couple of inches.

This 1950’s style tea length gown has a gorgeous Sabrina neckline. It’s embroidered, satin, cut-out lace is accented with a cummerbund Silk Dupion band adorned with a crystal brooch adorned bow at the natural waist. This gown also has a keyhole back fastened with covered buttons.

Justin Alexander’s creation is something right out of a  fairy tale. What was your favorite dress growing up?

Dress of the Week: Melissa Sweet

As the summer draws to a close, we open up our palette to suit next season’s foliage. There are the usual colors such as orange, brown and red, but the girls at CUE like to focus on colors that complement and make each event differ from the next.

For this week’s dress of the week we are shifting our focus from bride to bridesmaids. Not only are these women a great support system for brides, they also play a major role during the ceremony by simply showcasing what they are wearing and thereby serving as a significant element of the design palette. Melissa Sweet created a wonderful dress that is featured in majestic.

The plunging back with floral detail is one of the best features of this dress. Since the weather is cool and breezy during the fall, the enclosed front of the dress will keep the gals warm while at the same time maintaining some sassy style when viewed from the back. Lastly, the loose bottom will not restrict the bridesmaids when sitting or, more importantly, dancing. These girls will also be spending the whole day getting ready for the big day, so comfort is key!

What other color options would you choose when wearing this dress?

xoxo,
Kiki
