This week’s dress of the week is by the talented Simone Carvalli. I have fallen in love with this silk taffeta gown. The Swarovski crystals and beaded embellishment encircling the neckline give it all the sparkle a bride could want. The back has buttons over the zipper closure. It is a fit and flare silhouette with draping down the skirt that creates cascading asymmetrical tiers towards a chapel length train. The dress is available in diamond white, silk white, and ivory.

If you live in New York City, then chances are you’re probably a coffee drinker. Well, good news to all my fellow caffeine addicts out there! Starbucks has come out with a new line of drinks called Starbucks Refreshers. The girls at CUE were lucky enough to be invited to the launch of this drink and we fell in love! It’s a new kind of coffee that might cause you a bit of shock. The drinks are made from unroasted 100% arabica beans and real fruit juice that gives you a natural boost of energy. The drinks also contain real pieces of fruit. The best part? None of the drinks are more than 100 calories and you get 50% or more of the daily value of vitamin C per serving. Starbucks Refreshers come in two flavors: Very Berry Hibiscus and Cool Lime.
You may think it doesn’t get much better than that, but it does. Of course you can order it at any Starbucks store, but you can also take it on the go with VIA Refreshers. And if you’re really in a rush, you can pick it up in a can from any Starbucks or at select grocery stores.

My personal favorite is the Very Berry. Check them out at your local Starbucks and let us know your favorite flavor!
Kenneth Pool’s Farrah is the dress that stole our hearts this week. This floor length gown is made of luxurious silk organza, including the beautifully delicate flowers adorning the single shoulder strap. The dropped waist and ruched bodice add flair, along with an elaborate draped skirt. Any bride will feel like a princess in this gorgeous Kenneth Pool design.

We’re showing the bridesmaids a little love with this week’s dress of the week: Love by Enzoani. This elegant gown is Grecian inspired. It has an A-line chiffon silhouette with an asymmetrical one shoulder ruched strap and an asymmetrical skirt draped into tiered chiffon. The precious stone and crystal floral applique belt gives it just the right amount of glam. This dress is available in midnight blue, melon, silver, cashmere, lavender, blush, apple, black, ivory, and light yellow to match the color scheme of your wedding.

What began in the 1960s as a cooking school in the basement of Abigail Kirsch’s home has turned into a phenomenal catering service which the girls at CUE have had the wonderful opportunity to work with. They are not only professional and fun to work with, but they go above and beyond expectations. Not only does Abigail Kirsch cater, they also have exclusive venues in eight different locations throughout the tristate area.
The goal of Abigail Kirsch is “to produce creative and delicious menus, whether serving 20 or 2,000.” Though we all may eat with our eyes first, this catering service ensures that every bite tastes as amazing at it looks!

Orange Blossom by Claire Pettibone is this week’s pick for Dress of the Week. It is a mermaid-style gown embellished with ivory and silver flowers on tulle. Floor length with a flattering square neckline and barely-there embellished cap sleeves, it is the back of this gown that truly won our hearts.
